In the Young Adults/Young Professionals
group, we gather together to share common experiences of our
generation. We meet the 3rd weekend of each month and
alternate between service activities and social activities. In
the past we have served the homeless at St. V’s, worked at
Habitat for Humanity, and volunteered at the zoo. On the months
that we get together for social activities we have been to a
local theater, bowling, and sometimes gather at one another’s
houses for dinner and board games.
There is also a Young Adults/Young
Professionals discussion group that meets every other Wednesday
at 6:30. We started this during Lent 2010 with the Lenten
discussion series and plan to continue this with a study of the
book of Mark. We meet at members’ houses or local restaurants.
