Christopher McCullough, Pastoral Associate

Chris McCullough is a native of Cincinnati, Ohio who started his professional career as an architect earning a Bachelor of Environmental Design from Miami University of Ohio in 1986 and a Master of Architecture from Clemson University in 1989.

In 1991 he joined the Glenmary Home Missioners to pursue a call to the priesthood. Glenmary serves areas of the United States where there is less than one percent Catholic population and high rates of poverty. Though he left Glenmary in 1997, he continued his theological studies at the Washington Theological Union, and graduated in 2000 with both Master of Divinity and Master of Theology degrees. In 2001 he accepted a position at the Cathedral of St. Matthew the Apostle in Washington, DC, where he spent the next four years working as the Coordinator of Adult Faith Formation.

Chris McCullough met his wife,  Amy an ordained Methodist minister, while working at the Cathedral. In June of 2005 he and his wife moved to Tennessee for her to pursue a Ph.D. at Vanderbilt University. Chris worked both as a teacher of theology at John Paul II High School and then Director of Workplace Spirituality at St Thomas Hospital. Upon completion of his wife’s studies in 2008, the McCullough’s relocated to Baltimore. Most recently Chris has worked at Archbishop Curley High School as the Director of Campus Ministry from 2008 – 2011.  Amy is the current senior pastor of Grace united Methodist Church.  Chris and Amy live in Roland Park with their two children, Luke (5) and Suzanna (2).
