Here at St. V's, hospitality is not a committee; it is a calling and a commitment.  Many parishioners independently have taken it upon themselves to promote different parts of this ministry.  For instance, at the 9:30 Liturgy, there are:

• Door greeters who extend the initial welcome and hand out Sunday bulletins (Sally Kone and the seminarians)
   
• The Welcome Lady who makes the Sunday welcoming announcements and invites all to stay after mass and have coffee and share our spirit of Christ (Mary Lynn Myers).
   
• During the Sign of Peace many parishioners extend a handshake to the person sitting next to them or a hug to a friend in another aisle.
   
• The coffee klatch facilitators purchase the coffee, donuts, supplies, and do the set-up and clean-up for the coffee klatch (Michael & Kathryn Bolton and Richard Jedlicka with a little help from Dave Myers and friends).
   
• The cup washers wash the ceramic cups we choose to use instead of styrofoam to promote a healthy environment (Mary Ann Dunevant).
