St Vincent’s honors the role of the laity in preparing the altar for the Liturgy of the Eucharist. Assigned altar dressers come forward from the congregation to dress the altar and receive the presented gifts during the offertory. Middle school students are involved in this
ministry to acknowledge their journey to adult participation.
