This October, the synod of bishops will gather in Rome — and women religious, priests & deacons, lay women & men will join them. Together, they will continue the deliberations from the past two years of the Church’s global listening process, which illuminated the hopes and dreams of the People of God. One of those dreams – raised clearly in nearly every report from around the globe – is to rethink women’s participation in the life of the Church.
