Ascension

This feast recognizes and celebrates the Ascension of the Lord, but it is more of a commissioning feast than anything else. “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit…” But Jesus did not leave the apostles empty handed, “Behold I am with you always – until the end of the age.”
